A passport is a must, and it's required for all air travel overseas, both for entry into the foreign country and for returning back to the home country. These cut across for the purpose of educational trip, business trip or medical trip among others.
Sequel to the recent miraculous and favorable judgment delivered by Hon. Justice kurada at the Federal High Court Kaduna that granted the full freedom of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenatu, Major General Buhari led-administration continue oppressing Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenatu by illegally denying them access to their International Passports to travel abroad for proper medication.
The general public is aware that Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenatu are the primary targets of the Zaria Massacre who survived with dangerous injuries in their bodies, the incident happened on 12th December 2015. Where Nigerian army went to Sheikh Zakzaky residence and extrajudicially killed over 1000 plus of his followers, demolished his properties such as his residence, his mother's house, his worshiping center (known as Hussainiyya Baqiyyatullah) and, other valuable properties.
According to Nigerian Medical Doctors Association, "We don't have modern types of equipment that we can treat Sheikh zakzaky and his wife Malama Zeenatu's deadly injuries. As a result of that, we advise them (Shiek Zakzaky and his Wife) to travel abroad to attain proper medication".
Certainly now: Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife Malama are still suffering from dangerous injuries, but unfortunately General Buhari is still withholding the international passports that will enable them to travel abroad for proper medication. Yet, now it's exactly 3 months when the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna State acquitted Sheikh and his wife full freedom, Buhari still denies them access to their International passports.
In wrapping up, we are calling for the international community, and other local and International Human Rights organizations to investigate President Buhari over his illegal decision of denying Sheikh zakzaky and his wife from traveling abroad seeking proper medication.
"Justice must succeed over and top of injustice Insha'Allah".
