Four Real Madrid midfielders have netted goals so far this season: Kroos, James, Casemiro and Modric. This list is headed by Casemiro and Kroos, each with two, followed by Modric and James, with one.
Toni Kroos was the first to score. He did so against Celta in Vigo (1-3) with a fierce drive into the top corner. Just as he was the first, the German ace was also the last midfielder to find the net, with his effort against Galatasaray (0-1) in the third Champions League Group Stage clash. Casemiro has also netted in both competitions. In LaLiga he notched against Levante (3-2), before repeating the feat in Europe's top competition against Bruges (2-2).
Two goals in the same game
As for Modric and James, both players scored their goals in in the very same, a clash with Granada (4-2) at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Croatian scored from outside the box before the Colombian star got his name on the scoresheet with the madridistas' fourth.
